Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actress. Her professional journey began as a young actress as well as a model, Elson is perhaps best known for her roles on television in the role of Alice Tyler on the CBS science-fiction series . Andrea was picked to portray Lynn Tanner in the popular show ALF from 1986. After a long time of work on shows that were a hit and movies, she decided to leave the field to spend time with her children. Andrea Elson's role as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teen daughter was not easy for her. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of a satcom's viewing audience was difficult. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson grew up within the world of travel because her advertising father was a traveling salesman. In the ten years before her birthday on the 10th of March she was a resident of New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. When she was in San Diego Andrea got an agent, and was able to get the role she tried to audition for. Fusco supported the show's premise, and said that "ALF is two hundred and eighty-five years old. He can drink beer he's old enough. But as ALF became more popular with youngsters, NBC informed Fusco you can't have him drinking the kids watch because it's not a good role model. Fusco was convinced that ALF, despite being an adult, was capable of doing this. The alcohol... is death. In 1995, he was diagnosed to be suffering from lymphoma. It was treated successfully and he was in complete remission for the rest years of his life. He passed away from the illness on June 26, 2019 in the year 75, at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
